Live broadcast of tonight’s rookie game

Tonight’s Kings-Ducks SoCal Hockey Futures Game will be broadcast live on LAKings.com and LAKingsInsider.com. I’ll provide the play by play account and will be joined by color commentator Daryl Evans. We’ll chat with figures from within the organization during intermissions, so if you’re unable to make it to tonight’s game at Toyota Sports Center, we hope you’ll tune in to see if the Kings rookies can defend their 6-1 win in Anaheim from Saturday night while learning more about those vying for an opportunity in black, silver and white.

This should also serve as a good opportunbity to test out LAKI’s commenting system in a game setting in advance of Sunday’s split squad exhibition games against Phoenix.

UPDATE: We’ll utilize a three-camera broadcast with instant replays.

I’ll have more updates on tonight’s game following the 9:45 am morning skate. It does appear that Patrik Bartosak will be making his organizational game debut at some point.
