On Tuesday, the Kings visited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to visit patients in their rooms before joining a large collection of clients in an arts and crafts sessions on a busy day in the Hollywood-based hospital.
“It’s really wonderful because Children’s Hospital is a key part of a community, and it’s one of the things that makes Los Angeles great,” said Dr. Alex Judkins, the hospital’s Pathologist in Chief. “So it’s fantastic to see the Kings come to our house, as it were, and it helps the kids who are here really know that people in the community know and thing about them, and feel connected to the stuff that reminds them about being healthy and happy in their lives.”
Make sure to check back to LAKings.com over the next 24 hours, as a pictorial of the team’s visit is in the process of being assembled. Alex Curry and the fine folks at FOX Sports West are also putting together a feature on the hospital visit for an upcoming episode of Kings Weekly.
