-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 55-31-15 all-time against the New Jersey franchise, a record that includes a road mark of 24-20-7. The Kings swept a season series against the Devils of at least two games for the first time since 1997-98 and improved to 5-1-1 in their last seven visits to the Prudential Center.

-Los Angeles improved to 9-10-2 against the Eastern Conference, 6-4-1 against the Metropolitan Division, 4-5 in two-goal games, 15-5-2 when scoring first, 11-1-1 when leading after one period, 1-2-2 when shots are even and 20-6-3 when any player records a multi-point game.
