Tonight will be the KIngs’ fourth game in Canada this season. The Kings nearly have as many American players (eight) on the active roster as Canadian players (10), but there always seems to be a more intense feeling leading up to games in Canada. A lot of it probably has to do with increased media coverage. Regardless, Terry Murray — a Quebec native — was asked by a local reporter if he looks forward to games in Canada.
MURRAY: “Always. I always look forward to playing in Canada. It’s exciting. Whether you’re playing on the West Coast or here in the East, it’s always very exciting. A lot of players are from these areas, and the adrenaline does get pumping a little bit.”
