Rob Scuderi’s postgame thoughts…

(on the game…)
SCUDERI: “It certainly wasn’t our best effort. So far this year, we haven’t had many like that, but it’s inevitable that it’s going to happen, and hopefully we can bounce back Wednesday.”

(on the trouble cleaning up plays in front of the net…)
SCUDERI: “Yeah, it was a little messy. That hasn’t happened to our penalty kill all year, but it certainly happened tonight. I thought one was a fairly lucky bounce, but the other one, we just need to do a better job of eliminating men or getting the puck. It’s one or the other, and we didn’t do either one tonight.”

(on the loss…)
SCUDERI: “We’re not oblivious to what our record is. We know we’ve had a good start. But you certainly don’t want to make a habit of these kind of games, with the poor decisions we made and things like that. Like I said, we’ve got a game Wednesday and we can bounce back right before we have a long road trip.”
