-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 53-30-14 all-time against the New Jersey franchise, a record that includes a road mark of 23-19-7. The Kings are 7-2-2 in the last 11 road games against the Devils and finished the season series with a 1-1-0 record.

By playing his 673rd career game, he moved into a tie with Mike Murphy for eighth place on the Kings’ all-time list.
-Dating back to February 7, Jonathan Quick is 14-4-2 with a 1.73 GAA, .932 Sv% and three shutouts (1182:32 min / 502 shots against / 468 saves).
-Mike Richards logged 11:41 in his first game since January 21. He was credited with one shot on goal, one missed shot and a minus-one rating.
-Alec Martinez logged 16:23 of ice time in his first game since February 7. He was credited with three shots on goal, one attempt blocked and a game-high five blocked shots. By registering three shots on goal, Martinez now has 82 shots on goal this season, surpassing his career high of 79, set in 2013-14.
-Los Angeles attempted 59 shots (33 on goal, 12 blocked, 14 missed). New Jersey attempted 44 shots (20 on goal, 11 blocked, 13 missed). Drew Doughty led all skaters with 10 shot attempts (3 on goal, 4 blocked, 3 missed), while Marian Gaborik registered a game-high five shots on goal.
-The Kings won 28-of-54 faceoffs (52%). Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 5-of-12, Anze Kopitar won 9-of-18, Nick Shore won 5-of-6 and Jeff Carter won 6-of-15.
