Audio: Quick hits with Kevan Miller

Bruins defenseman and Santa Clarita native Kevan Miller grew up as a Kings and Sharks fan before he enrolled at the Berkshire School in Massachusetts, and, ultimately, the University of Vermont. The Catamounts’ captain in 2009-10 and 2010-11, Miller has two goals – including the game-winner in Boston’s win at the New York Islanders Thursday night – and six points in 34 games and has averaged 17:55 of ice time under Claude Julien.

There weren’t many players in Boston’s room this morning, so it wasn’t easy to get Miller in a one-on-one setting as he drew a heavy share of media attention. Here is a collection of his answers from questions about playing in Southern California and against the Kings.

Miller, 27, also played for the West Valley Wolves, Ventura Mariners and L.A. Junior Kings. Here’s a story from last season when the Bruins practiced at Toyota Sports Center.
