We just got done chatting with Anze Kopitar, Michal Handzus, Ryan Smyth, Jack Johnson, Brad Richardson, Dustin Brown, Drew Doughty and Terry Murray about this season and their thoughts on the summer and looking ahead to next season. There’s a lot of good stuff to be posted. Some highlights…
— Murray said he might have played Quick too much down the stretch.
— Peter Harrold had a broken wrist and Dought hurt his thumb/wrist in Game 1.
— Johnson and Alexander Frolov are expected to play in the World Championships. Doughty and Brown will decline because of injuries. Handzus remains undecided.
— Doughty is interested in signing a long-term contact.
— Murray said he would welcome Frolov’s return next season.
More on all that, and more, to come. I have a lot of transcribing to do!
