Good morning from El Segundo, where the Kings are wrapping up team meetings that followed today’s morning skate. Lines and pairings used Saturday:
Gaborik – Kopitar – Carter
Brown – Stoll – Williams
Pearson – Lewis – Toffoli
Clifford – Richards – King
Andreoff – Nolan
Muzzin – Doughty
Martinez – Greene
McNabb – McBain
Schultz
Quick
Jones
-Via line rushes, there doesn’t appear to be any change to the alignment used in Monday’s overtime loss to Calgary.
-Jonathan Quick left the ice first; expect him to start against San Jose tonight (7:00 p.m. / NBCSN).
-Jeff Schultz and Andy Andreoff remained on the ice for extra work with Martin Jones, so they’re not expected to play tonight. Jordan Nolan did not remain on for extra work.
-Robyn Regehr (injured reserve / upper-body) did not take the ice.
-Via David Pollak, Antti Niemi is expected to start and Micheal Haley will make his San Jose debut tonight:
Relaying from a.m. skate: Niemi first off the ice and Haley skated on fourth line. Likely making his #SJSharks debut tonight vs. LAK.
