On what the team did to rally back from a 3-0 hole in the series:
You go out there and try to perform the best you can. If that’s winning a faceoff, if that’s scoring a goal, blocking a shot, whatever the case may be, when the game is on the line everybody in here is willing to do that. That’s what gave us a chance to go back to San Jose.
On possibly being the fourth team to come back from a three-game deficit in a series:
We’re not thinking about that. We’re happy that we can go back there and play Game 7. That was our goal all along when we went down 3-0. Now we’re here and we need to play our best game of the series, that’s for sure. I’m pretty sure they’re going to be fired up. The building is going to be loud and we’re going to have to be ready for it.
On the five-on-three penalty kill:
It was quite a bit of time. I was checking, I guess, halfway through up on the scoreboard to how much time we had and it was quite a bit of time. At that point, you’re just trying to get into the shooting lanes and not give them the opportunity to pass it through our triangle. I thought Drew and, I think Mitchie was back there, did a great job of getting in front of shots and when they missed it Quickie was there. We were able to clear the puck and change and that was obviously pretty big momentum for us.
On the fights at the end of the game:
I think it’s just a little bit of frustration on their part. It’s nothing new. We’ve seen it before. We just have to make sure we stick together.
