On coming back from a three-goal deficit:
[It was] just a sloppy, slow start. Clean that up and we give ourselves a way better chance to win the game. Once we started moving our feet, moving the puck a little bit better, things opened up for us.
On creating offense by getting to the front of the net:
I think that’s kind of our identity. Obviously we’re a bigger team and we like to take shots from the point and we need guys in front to screen goalies – they’re good nowadays – and today we were fortunate to get two sticks on two of them.
On this being the first Kings game in 37 years without a single penalty:
Yeah, I know. I think the refs just wanted to speed up the process tonight, but that’s nice. I like that. They did a good job.
On the three-goal rally giving the team some momentum:
The good thing was we played better in the second half, if you want to look at it that way. We came back from the deficit and we played a little better hockey. We got more pucks to the net and had our chances. We just have to clean up certain things.
On having a five-game point streak:
With the break here, I just tried to find my game again. Obviously puck possession and wall plays are big for me and I just have to continue to work on that for the next two games.
