On Ben Scrivens starting off his heavy workload with a win:
He had to start one game. We’ve got two goalies.
On what he liked from the team in the third period:
We killed a penalty to start the third. Didn’t get great officiating in the second period. [We had] to kill at the end of the first, kill at the start of the second, kill at the end of the second, kill at the start of the third.
On whether the comeback could give the team a boost after losing Jonathan Quick:
It doesn’t really bother us. We’re not a high-low team. That’s why we’re a good hockey club. It doesn’t mean you win every night.
On Tanner Pearson scoring a goal in his regular season debut:
Shot the puck at the goalie. Should do that more often.
On whether Slava Voynov “elevated his game”:
He got better as it went along. The pace of his game has got to pick up. Basically, when he’s moving his feet, then the puck goes further up the ice, and when he’s not, then he’s playing in his own zone.
On Trevor Lewis’ status after getting hit in the head:
He’s fine.
