On whether the team expected to be in this position:
“No. Four games in a series, so we just focus on the next one. We’re going home. We played really well at home this year, and we’ve got to take care of our home ice here.”
On whether St. Louis’ brought a similar effort and provided a challenge on the forecheck:
“I think their forecheck was good, but I think we played a really good 40 minutes. We’ve got to stay on the body in the third. We didn’t have everyone taking the body. I mean, that’s the key to our grind here, is being physical. We let up in the third on the physicality, and that’s what happens.”
On Los Angeles not getting any bounces:
“I think this time of year it’s not about bounces. It’s about your mental toughness and your work, and like I said, we worked for 40 minutes and they found a way to win, so now it’s hit the reset button and get ready for Game 3.”
