Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…
(on his game…)
QUICK: “The team played great in front of me, blocked shots and cleared out rebounds. We did all the little things today and it paid off in the end.”
(on whether that was his best game of the season…)
QUICK: “I don’t know. It was a good game. You just have to build off it. You can’t start digging into the the past. You just want to keep the momentum going as a team.”
(on playing in the shootout…)
QUICK: “You just have to approach every shot the same, trying to stop it. Whether we score first or don’t score, you still have to stop it. That doesn’t change anything.”
(more on his game…)
QUICK: “The team did great in front of me, clearing all the shots. The few that I didn’t see, they missed the net. I got lucky. I caught one off the post in the third period. It was a great game, a great team win. Chicago is a real great team, so it’s great to go toe to toe with them like that.”
