You, the people, spoke in yesterday’s poll, when you voted for a Kings fourth line of Ethan Moreau, Colin Fraser and Brad Richardson. For those who voted that way, Terry Murray agrees with two-thirds of your choices… Murray said today that he will go with a fourth line of Moreau, Fraser and Trevor Lewis, same as the previous game. Kevin Westgarth is also in the mix, but given that the Anaheim Ducks’ enforcer, George Parros, is out of the lineup, it seemed realistic that the choice would be between Lewis and Richardson. By most accounts, the fourth line played a solid game Saturday against Minnesota, so Murray decided not to make any changes.
MURRAY: “Yeah, I’m going to keep it the same. I think putting Fraser in the middle, it’s a great opportunity for him, first of all. He needs to show us what he can do. I have a bit of a handle on who he is and what he does. It’s important, though, that when you get your chance with a new team like this, that you come in and play that way and show your stuff, and I thought he did in the last two games. So, they bring us some grit, some energy, and I feel confident. They’re veteran players. You’re going to get them out there against some of the better lines on the opposition, coming up here in the next couple games and when you’re on the road. There’s a matchup that everybody is looking for, and I have to feel some kind of comfort to be able to leave them out there, if there’s a quick change or I get caught on an icing, knowing that they’re going to be able to do a job.”
