Morning reading: Johnson, Simmons

Here’s a couple items before the Kings get on the ice in Arizona. First, my weekly LAKings.com feature takes a look at Jack Johnson, and his need/ability to pick up some slack for the defense while Drew Doughty is out of the lineup injured. Also, many of you might have seen this yesterday, but ESPN’s Bill Simmons wrote his most-recent column on how he was influenced to buy Kings season tickets this season. The Kings are getting some solid “mainstream’’ shout-outs of late, as this follows Al Michaels’ mention of the organization during NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
