Jarret Stoll’s postgame thoughts…
(on the win…)
STOLL: “It was a good team effort. Quickie played great and we moved the puck extremely well all night, up the ice and not hanging onto it, not going back, just everything was north. That’s how we’ve got to play. We’ve got to get our forecheck going, and get on teams’ defense, and that’s what we did tonight.’’
(on moving the puck well through the neutral zone…)
STOLL: “There was hardly any neutral-zone play, because we got pucks going, we got pucks in. There were some turnovers, yeah, but you’re going to have those. It’s just about minimizing those turnovers and minimizing those mistakes before they come back to haunt you.’’
(on making a nice pass, then getting rewarded with a goal…)
STOLL: “You’ve just got to keep working, keep going. If you work hard enough, the bounces should go your way. Tonight, I was lucky enough to get one and just contribute any way you can, any way possible to help the team get a win and keep this thing going.’’
