Let’s take a quick look at salary structure. With Doughty’s $7 million now on the books, if we assume the following lineup — still very much subject to change — here’s what the great website Capgeek.com comes up with, in terms of the Kings’ payroll. It still leaves them a cushion of $2.35 million, which Dean Lombardi likes to have going into a season in case a midseason trade comes up.
