Odd incident at Staples Center

For those attending tonight’s game, don’t be surprised if there’s some extra security. Apparently, an odd scene took place before today’s game between the Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers, as a knife-wielding man got onto the court and was shot by police with rubber bullets after a 20-minute standoff. Reports indicate that there were no injuries, and while the start of the Clippers’ game was delayed slightly, there’s not expected to be any impact on tonight’s Kings game.
