Happy Thanksgiving! Short Skate in El Segundo, Travel to SJ

Happy Thanksgiving, Insiders!

For starters, a quick twirl for the LA Kings this morning at Toyota Sports Performance Center. Nothing wild, no inter-squad fights to give me a “Thanksgiving Throwdown” headline and no real changes to how the group has lined up here over the last two days. Sean Durzi skated for the second straight day with the full group and appeared to take his place alongside Matt Roy on the pairing he’s grown comfortable on. Will see how or if that carries over into tomorrow’s game.

Off to San Jose this evening, as the Kings get prepared to take on the Sharks tomorrow evening at SAP Center. The team is set to fly North this evening after a Thanksgiving day spent locally here in Los Angeles. A quick jaunt out to San Jose and then the Kings will return home for four games here at Crypto.com Arena, with hopes of replicating the last four-game stand.

For today, a day hopefully to relax with friends, family or whoever you choose to celebrate with, if at all. As always, thankful for the opportunity to write articles here for you all on the site and interact throughout the comments. The best part of my job! For now, enjoy the day and we’ll talk soon! Will answer anything you all have in the comments when we get on the plane later on today.
