Quick has a lower-body injury; Budaj to be recalled from Ontario

As first reported by Lisa Dillman of The Athletic, Jonathan Quick has a lower-body injury and will miss Sunday’s game against the New York Rangers. The injury is not the same one that sidelined Quick for five games earlier this season and, as Jon added via hockey operations, Quick will be re-evaluated next week.

As Lisa also reported, as was the case when Quick was last injured, goaltender Peter Budaj will be recalled from Ontario to fill the void and will be expected to backup Jack Campbell tomorrow against New York.

Check back tomorrow for more updated information.
