-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 32-19-5 all-time against Columbus, a record that includes a road mark of 14-10-4. The Kings are 8-2-1 ni the last 11 road games against the Blue Jackets and the last 11 games overall in the series. These teams meet next at Staples Center on March 1.
-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 5-0-0 against the Eastern Conference, 3-0-0 against the Metropolitan Division, 3-0 in two-goal games, 3-0-1 when their opponent scores first, 2-0-1 when trailing after one period, 3-0-0 when tied after two periods and 2-0-0 when outshot by their opponent.
-With the win, the Kings tied their longest streak to start a season without a regulation loss in franchise history (6-0-1, seven games; also 1995-96, 4-0-3). It continues the best start in franchise history (13 points), and is the first time in franchise history that Los Angeles has won six of their first seven games.
-The Kings won their first two games on the road for the sixth time in franchise history (last: 2015-16).
-Los Angeles scored at least three goals for the sixth straight game (25 total goals), their longest stretch of scoring at least three goals since February 7-18, 2015 (six games, 23 total goals). The only game in which they failed to score three goals was the 2-0 opening night win versus Philadelphia.
-The Kings have outscored their opponents 21-6 in second and third periods this season.
-Dustin Brown, Alex Iafallo and Anze Kopitar all registered a plus-5 rating tonight. That is tied for the seventh highest plus/minus rating in team history (six players have posted a plus-6 rating). It is also just the second time in franchise history that three players posted a plus-5 rating or better in the same game (Steve Duchesne, plus-6; Bernie Nicholls, plus-5; Luc Robitaille, plus-5; December 1, 1988).

-Jake Muzzin (1-2=3) extended his point streak to six games (2-6=8), his longest since he had a career-long eight game streak Jan. 2-19, 2016 (1-7=8). With his second period goal, Jake Muzzin tied Bob Murdoch (41 goals) for 10th place on the franchise’s all-time list of goals by a defenseman.
-Tyler Toffoli’s assist and point streak was snapped at three games. He played his 300th career NHL game.
-Jonathan Quick stopped 32-of-36 shots to extend his point streak to six games (5-0-1). He is 45-14-7 all-time in October.
-Los Angeles attempted 56 shots (32 on goal, 15 blocked, 9 missed). Columbus attempted 70 shots (36 on goal, 23 blocked, 11 missed). Boone Jenner and Dustin Brown tied with a game-high six shots on goal.
-The Kings won 39-of-68 faceoffs (57%). Adrian Kempe won 3-of-6, Anze Kopitar won 19-of-28, Michael Cammalleri won 0-of-1, Andy Andreoff won 0-of-1, Alex Iafallo wo 0-of-1, Nick Shore won 9-of-14, Dustin Brown won 1-of-1, Brooks Laich won 5-of-11 and Tanner Pearson won 2-of-5.
