A good afternoon to you, Insiders, and safe travels through Thursday traffic to get to tonight’s State of the Franchise event. There are a pair of openings at LAKI HQ as Lindsay Czarnecki and Bo Hamby have moved on. Lindsay continues to get prime assignments at FOX Sports 1, which requires more travel than in the past, so she will be handing the Reign’s reins over to a new reporter, while Bo just began his first year at Columbia University, where he’s working towards a master’s degree in journalism. You’ll always be able to follow both – and please do! – at @LCzarnecki13 and @hamby_bo. That ne’er-do-well James Nicholson is also reachable at @ulyssesjim, though his timeline is largely related to alpaca shepherding.
So! There are two positions open, and they’ll be filled by late September. You can formally apply through Teamwork Online by following links on this page, but if you send your documents to jonnyrosen-at-gmail-dot-com, that also suffices as an application. Please be kind and attach a cover letter and resume if you are applying via email. Writing samples are always welcome.
Now, the next two weeks – THAT’S WILLIE’S TIME. I’m about to head on vacation and will take a look at some resumes and applications on the flights but otherwise will not regularly be responding to ORI/LAKIA queries. Focus will really shift to these two positions the week of September 4-8.
