On what Jeff Carter is doing well:
He’s doing everything pretty well. When you look at him, I can’t remember the last time that I didn’t say that. He’s on fire, and we need it, obviously, the way he took charge of the team.
On what he liked about the shorthanded performance in a difficult building to kill penalties:
I think we only had three. They did have some good opportunities. They have a good power play.
On Peter Budaj:
He didn’t have a lot of work until the third. I think five-on-five, the goal that Couture scored was probably their only – just thinking back quick, that’s the only scoring chance they had, five-on-five, that I can think of. It was a good chance, so I’m sure [Budaj] really wanted to have a really good third period. He made a great play on the overtime goal. The first time he touched the puck, he played the puck behind the net, up the wall, if you think about it. He didn’t have to make a save but he made a great play there.
On what he saw on the disallowed goal:
Same thing I’m sure you saw on the replay. [Reporter: So did you see that as a bad rule then, a rule that needs to be changed?] It’s a rule.
