POSTGAME NOTES
–The Reign (6-3-4-0) kicked off their five-game homestand with a win, improving to 1-0-1-0 in meetings with Stockton (8-4-1-0) this season. The Reign improved to 5-0-0-0 when leading after two periods and 4-3-4-0 against Pacific Division opponents. Ontario has picked up points now in its last four games (3-0-1-0) and snapped Stockton’s three-game winning streak.
–Goalie Jack Campbell finished with 17 saves on 18 shots to improve to 3-1-1-1 this season. It was his first win since a 6-5 overtime decision against Texas on Oct. 21.
–Mike Amadio extended his points streak to five straight games with his first period goal off a rush on the right wing. He has three goals and three assists in the last five games. Justin Auger had his four-game point streak snapped.
–Jonny Brodzinski’s second period goal, a turnaround slap shot from the right boards, was his fourth of the season and his second in the last three games. He assisted on Andrew Crescenzi’s empty-netter to notch his third multi-point game this season.
–The Reign outshot the Heat 27-18 and were led by Michael Mersch who had five shots on goal. Sam Herr and Auger each had four.
–The Reign penalty kill went 1-for-6 and allowed a goal for the first time in three games. Overall the PK sits at 52-for-66 (78.8 percent). The power play finished 0-for-4 and fell to 14-for-50 (28 percent).

–In the first period, Michael Latta and Emile Poirier fought immediately off the faceoff following Amadio’s goal and were given game misconducts for fighting off the draw.
–Damir Sharipzianov got the attention of the home crowd with a hard hit on former King Linden Vey near the Heat bench late in the second period.
