On the loss:

On Slava Voynov getting tangled up with Joe Thornton:
I thought that was awesome for Slava to do with the response that he had. It was great and kind of got the guys going and kind of go from there.
On how the team played:
Obviously the result is not there, but I thought we played a good first period. Obviously the ice kind of shifted there. I thought we limited a team that generally gets 35 shots to I don’t know, less than 20. We have to find a way to score goals for Joner.
On the hardest part of playing in San Jose:
They’re momentum building and a momentum team at home. High powered offense and it’s just trying to bend but not break. Sometimes they’re a very good end zone team and sometimes they’re going to get cycles and long shifts in the O-zone. It’s just defending well during that time and biding your time.
