Kings clinch Pacific Division’s three seed

With a 4-0 win over the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday night, the Kings have clinched a playoff spot for the fifth consecutive season. They will open the postseason as the Pacific Division’s three seed and will face either the Anaheim Ducks or San Jose Sharks in the first round, which will begin the week of April 14-20. Los Angeles will host games three, four, and if necessary, six.

By virtue of Anaheim’s come-from-behind win over Edmonton on Wednesday, SportsClubStats.com puts the probability of a Los Angeles-San Jose series at 95%.

Playoff tickets will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Click here for more information.
