On expecting to win:
Yeah, we do expect that. I think there’s something wrong with your team if you aren’t going in every night expecting to win. I thought some guys really stepped up tonight. Kopi’s line was great. Jonesy played well in net again. It was a big win. We had a day off yesterday and obviously used it wisely, came out and won tonight.

On taking the lead 21 seconds into the game:
Right before the game Darryl said ‘we’ve won our last two games but our first periods haven’t been very good.’ We wanted everyone’s first shift to be a really good one and Kopi’s line led the way there. To get that one early, and get three early, that was huge for our team, huge for our confidence. I think we kind of relaxed after that a little bit in the second and let them come back. But, hey, we still won the game and we played well.

On his game:
I think I’m playing really well. I’m just trying to do whatever I can to help make this team win. Whether it’s the offensive zone, defensive zone, I’m just trying to compete my hardest. I don’t like to lose, so I’m just trying to go out there and win every night. I think it’s doing pretty well.
