On whether anyone came out of Monday’s game with “any dings”:
No, we’re pretty good. Good to have a day in between.
On what he was looking for at practice after last night’s game:
Just some guys that haven’t played many minutes – keep their feet under ‘em, and some of the older guys right now with the schedule, keep ‘em off. There’s not much you can do about it.
On Mike Richards saying that he played better with his dad around:
Well, most of us our whole lives play better when our dad was around…It wasn’t so much when I played in the NHL, but I know when I was growing up, we always played better when dad was around.
On the Kings’ centers outplaying the Canucks’ centers:
Well, I think the quality of their two centermen – being Sedin and Kesler – are world class players. You have to be able to off-set it. It’s not that we generally have our center as dominant players, but if you don’t, you’re usually on the other end of the [ice]. You just go back to our playoff series against them, when we upset them, a big part of it was Mike and Kopi and Jarret.
