-Lines are expected to shift significantly as explained in an earlier post. Dustin Brown is likely to slide back to his natural right side opposite Dwight King on the line centered by Trevor Lewis. “Just getting bodies on them,” Kyle Clifford said of his role alongside Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams. “Even if it’s just a rub or a finish or something like that – it always frustrates other teams, especially top players. So any time you get a finish on any of their key guys, it’s important.” Jarret Stoll has not resumed skating and remains out.
Projected Lines – San Jose
TJ Galiardi – Joe Thornton – Brent Burns
Patrick Marleau – Logan Couture – Joe Pavelski
James Sheppard – Scott Gomez – Tommy Wingels
Andrew Desjardins – Tim Kennedy – Bracken Kearns
Matt Irwin – Dan Boyle
Marc-Edouard Vlasic – Justin Braun
Scott Hannan – Brad Stuart

-No changes are expected in San Jose’s lineup. Defenseman Jason Demers, out since April 18 with a foot injury, is available. He had skated as a forward at the team’s practice on Monday and as a defenseman at the morning skate on Tuesday. Adam Burish resumed skating this week and is doubtful for tonight, though he could be an option for Todd McLellan in Game 6.
