Jonathan Quick was the first goalie to leave the ice at the team’s practice at the Toyota Sports Center on Friday. Because Saturday’s game begins at 1:00 pm, that’s an indication he’s likely to be in net in the final meeting of the year between the Kings and Edmonton Oilers. Darryl Sutter spoke last night about needing both goaltenders in the “heavy lifting schedule”, which could point to Jonathan Bernier starting at Honda Center against the Anaheim Ducks Sunday evening.
