Follow the Stanley Cup online

Here are a couple things you’re probably going to want to bookmark/follow for a while. As you probably know, the Stanley Cup is constantly on the move. It was mentioned on TV the other day that it makes public appearances approximately 300 days a year. This summer, it’s the Kings’ turn to show it off. All players and coaches — as well as many staff members — get a day with the Cup, to do whatever they would like with it. The Hockey Hall of Fame, the official home of the Cup, will be tracking its travels through an online journal this summer, and Phil Pritchard, the official “keeper of the Cup,’’ the man charged with transporting it and keeping it safe, has been on Twitter giving updates.
