Morning in St. Paul

A weary bunch of travelers arrived at the team hotel right around 3:45 a.m. It’s never a good sign when the next day’s newspaper is waiting for you at the door. Darryl Sutter elected to take the players to the arena this morning — 11 a.m. local time — for what figures to be only a team meeting, to make sure everyone is awake as much as anything. Players will be able to rest a bit in the afternoon and then use whatever energy they have remaining to face the Minnesota Wild tonight. Here’s how things looked in St. Paul this morning.
