Kopitar postgame quotes (March 16)

Anze Kopitar’s postgame thoughts…

(on the first period…)
KOPITAR: “We’ve been playing pretty good hockey. Right now, it’s desperation time for us, obviously. I thought tonight we came out really strong. Obviously the first period that we had was a good booster for us, and then when you do get a couple goals ahead, it’s maybe a little easier to play the rest of the game. It’s obviously definitely easier than chasing from behind.’’

(on finishing 5-1 against Anaheim this season…)
KOPITAR: “Every time you get points within the division, it’s big. If you look at the big picture, in the end we still have some division games that we have to take care of. There’s going to be big games down the stretch. We’ve just got to keep on going right now.’’

(on holding a lead, and playing with confidence in front of Jonathan Quick…)
KOPITAR: “Quickie has been there for us the whole time. The confidence we have in him is really high. We obviously take pride in playing good defensive hockey in front of him, and it’s been working for us.’’
