This is the second of four meetings this season between the Kings and the Calgary Flames, and follows the Kings’ 4-1 victory at Calgary last Saturday. As noted earlier, the Flames are expected to be without Curtis Glencross, who has a knee injury, and per the Calgary Herald’s Vicki Hall, the Flames might dress seven defensemen tonight. The Flames are coming off a strong defensive effort on the road, in Saturday’s 2-1 shootout loss to San Jose, in which Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 30 of 31 shots in regulation and overtime. This is the Flames’ fourth consecutive game against a Pacific Division team, and so far they’re 1-1-1.
