Who wouldn’t pay to see another playoff series between the Kings and the Vancouver Canucks? The Kings would probably prefer that the theoretical series take place in the second or third round, not the first, but over the past few seasons, almost every meeting between the Kings and Canucks has been intense and compelling. They don’t come much better than Tuesday’s game, in which the Kings landed the first punch, the Canucks counterpunched and the game went all the way to the third round of the shootout before Mike Richards fired home the game-winner.
