First, an update on Saturday’s suite event at Staples Center. All the seats in all five suites have been sold out, but Staples Center’s Larry Abel has arrange for 39 standing-room only tickets to be put on sale for $50 each. To be clear, this entitles the buyer to a spot in one of the suites, as well as one of the barstool-type chairs that are behind the seats, plus access to the pregame puck shot and the postgame skate (you must bring your own skates). Anyone who has been to one of the suite events can tell you that there is plenty of room to stand/walk/sit with comfort. So if you’re interested, don’t hesitate. The link is below, and the offer code is “kingsinsider.’’
