This is the third of four meetings this season between the Kings and the Vancouver Canucks, and follows two games at Staples Center that the teams split. The Kings lost 3-2 on Nov. 10 and won 4-1 on Dec. 31. The Canucks are second in the Western Conference, with 59 points in 46 games, and they’re 12-6-2 at home. The Canucks enter tonight’s game among the top eight in the NHL in goals per game (fourth, 3.2), goals-against per game (eighth, 2.4), power-play percentage (first, 23.8) and penalty-kill percentage (fourth, 86.7). Roberto Luongo is scheduled to get the start in goal for Vancouver tonight, and the local media has been chirping about the relative lack of production from the Canucks’ second line — and Ryan Kesler in particular — so watch out for that trio tonight. For the latest on the Canucks, check out the coverage in the Vancouver Province and the Vancouver Sun, followed by tonight’s probable lineups for the Kings and the Canucks…
