Think the Kings have a scoring problem? Beyond the obvious — No. 30 in goals per game — there’s this statistic, courtesy of Daryl Evans. Jonathan Quick’s record this season is 18-11-6. In those 17 regulation, overtime and shootout losses, the Kings have scored a total of 23 goals. The Columbus Blue Jackets had not enjoyed one shutout in 39 games this season, before today. Now they have one. The Kings have two goals in their last three games. What was the key aspect of today’s 1-0 loss to the Blue Jackets?
