Scouting the Red Wings

Today’s 1 p.m. game is the first of four meetings this season between the Kings and the Detroit Red Wings, and it should be a great atmosphere, with blog readers filling five suites at Staples Center and the usual influx of red-clad fans. It’s an interesting time for the Red Wings, who have been ultra-streaky. The started the season 5-0-0, then went 0-5-1, then went 4-0-0. Now they’ve lost two in a row, but the Red Wings are ever-dangerous.
