Matt Greene’s postgame thoughts…

(on the lack of scoring this season…)
GREENE: “It’s just not going in for us right now, but I thought we had a lot of chances tonight, after the first (period). I thought we were there. (The Canucks) did a good job of bottling things up there in front of the net and eliminating second chances, but I think it’s there. I think we’re getting our chances and it’s going to come.’’

(on the early five-minute penalty kill…)
GREENE: “That’s tough. It’s tough getting a kill like that. That happens to every team, and it’s a tough stretch in the game but it’s going to happen and we’ve got to get those kills. … There was time to come back. I thought we responded well to it. We came out of the first down 3-0 and got it going, got the late goal to make it 3-2. We had life all game. It’s tough coming back after being down 3-0.’’
