Anze Kopitar’s postgame thoughts…
(on the game…)
KOPITAR: “The outcome wasn’t the way we wanted it to be, but I think our game overall was much better than it was last game. If we play like that, I like our chances in each and every game. We had a couple chances in the third and in OT but we couldn’t score there. It didn’t go our way tonight.’’
(on giving up the late game-tying goal…)
KOPITAR: “Any time you give up a goal, it sucks, especially late in the game. But there’s nothing you can do but fight on and go after it again. I think we bounced back really good. We had a couple good shifts, and that’s the way it sometimes goes.
(on his line’s improved play…)
KOPITAR: “I just the key to our success is the play through the neutral zone. If we enter the offensive zone with good speed and spacing, then we make plays off the rush and good things happen. Tonight, I thought the support in the zone was really good and we created chances off that.’’
