The view from Edmonton

As of this morning, both of last night’s Kings power-play goals still belong to Ryan Smyth. The Kings intended to leave the decision up to the NHL chief statistician, to determine whether Smyth or Drew Doughty should get credit for one or both of the goals. It was a good night for former Oilers Matt Greene and Jarret Stoll, who improved to 5-0-0 in Edmonton since being traded to the Kings.
