There’s nothing terribly new about the Boston Bruins. They’re getting good goaltending and they’re playing well on the road. The Bruins are 15-5-4 on the road this season, those 34 points representing the second-most most in the NHL this season (Philadelphia is 17-5-3). Boston is 6-0-3 in its last nine road games. Goalie Tim Thomas today was named the NHL’s “First Star of the Week.” Thomas went 3-0-0 with one shutout and allowed four goals in three games. Thomas is first among NHL goalies in goals-against average (1.83) and save percentage (.945). Here’s how the Bruins and Kings are scheduled to line up tonight, followed by the Bruins’ full roster.
