The last six games between the Kings and Edmonton Oilers at Staples Center have gone to shootouts, so if you have a ticket for tonight’s game, plan on staying a while. The Kings’ struggles of late have been well-chronicled, and the Oilers are coming off a surprising 5-2 victory over San Jose on Thursday. That followed a stretch in which they went 1-7-2- in their previous 10, with the lone win coming over the New York Islanders, so it’s tough to know what to expect from Edmonton tonight. The Oilers will be going for their first back-to-back wins since they had a four-game winning streak from Nov. 29-Dec. 4. It’s not yet known if the Oilers will stay with Devan Dubnyk in goal or turn to veteran Nikolai Khabibulin. For more on the Oilers this morning, check out the stories from the Edmonton Journal and Edmonton Sun. The Kings’ morning skate will be underway in about 45 minutes…
