Wednesday practice update

Alec Martinez got sent home this morning because of his flu symptoms, and Terry Murray said Martinez’s status for tomorrow’s game will be determined in the morning. Willie Mitchell completed the entire practice, wearing a much smaller wrist guard than the one he had before, but it’s still highly unlikely that Mitchell will be able to play before Monday, Murray said. Alexei Ponikarovsky is still on track to play tomorrow, and Jonathan Quick will be in goal. More notes and quotes to come…
