Could never tear them apart

The first, third and fourth lines will get new looks tonight, but the second line is the survivor. Ryan Smyth, Jarret Stoll and Justin Williams have combined for 23 of the Kings’ 59 goals this season, and even during this recent six-game skid, they’ve been fairly solid producers. So if Terry Murray felt tempted to break up the line, and move up Smyth and/or Williams to play with Anze Kopitar, he got over it fairly quickly, it seems.

MURRAY: “I like what the Stoll line has been doing, from the time they’ve been together. Williams has been having a great year. He has bounced back to where we wanted. You kind of draw it up that way. Physically, he’s in great shape and the line has got some nice chemistry going. I just want to leave that one and let them continue to play.”
