Anze Kopitar’s postgame thoughts…
(on the video-replay calls…)
KOPITAR: “Those types of things will happen throughout the course of the year, throughout the course of the game. We have to fight through those non-calls, calls, whatever the case may be. Unfortunately for us, it went that way.”
(on whether he thought Smyth had a high stick…)
KOPITAR: “I just saw it on the jumbotron. I thought it was pretty close. Yeah, I was standing right there on the ice, but you couldn’t tell. It happened pretty quick, and off the replay I thought it was pretty close. Like I said, those types of calls happen.”
(on the Kings’ one power-play goal…)
KOPITAR: “It’s not enough. Our power play has to be better. That’s the way it is. We have to be better as a team. Every line has to be better. Everyone has to be more responsible, more disciplined. That kind of game made us successful in the beginning of the year, and now we have to get back on track.”
