Scott Parse has been out for nearly a full month now — he hurt his groin on Sept. 22 — but finally seems to be taking positive steps. Parse skated briefly yesterday before practice and participated in today’s morning skate, looking more confident on the ice, driving to the net and shooting pucks. It’s too early for a timetable on Parse’s return, but Parse will accompany the Kings on their road trip and continue to practice as his health allows, Terry Murray said today.
MURRAY: “Parse is feeling good. He skated yesterday and now he’s out there again today, shooting some pucks. It’s very encouraging. We’ll just have to go through a few days of practice and see how he comes out of it. If everything stays positive, we’ll keep pushing hard and not set a time, but get him into that game conditioning and get him ready to go down the road.”
