Postgame quick hits

— Anze Kopitar needed 15 stitches on the outside of his mouth, and three inside, during the second period. He also lost one tooth but noted, without care, that it was fake. Neither Kopitar nor Terry Murray thought a penalty should have been called on Manny Malhotra on the play.

— Murray had strong praise for Jonathan Quick but said he would “stick with the plan,” which means starting Jonathan Bernier in goal tomorrow night against Calgary.

— Murray called Brayden Schenn “one of the top five forwards, including both teams,” a thought also widely held in the press box tonight.
